 A MESSAGE FROM MAINTENANCE

Energy Saving Tips:

  • When you are away from your condominium unit for long periods of time during the winter months, set your thermostat to 55 degrees to prevent pipes from freezing, turn off your hot water heater at the breaker box and turn the water valve to the hot water heater to the off postion;
  • Install a water leak alarm at your hot water heater;
  • Install a programmable thermostat to keep your condominium comfortable during the winter and summer months;
  • Purchase appliances that are energy efficient.  Look for the Energy Star label;
  • Recycle all plastic, glass and aluminium products.  Keep separate from newspapers and magazines;
  • Electronic items such as televisons, stereos, radios, etc. are recylable.  Please contact the Maintenance Superintendent or the Manager for disposing of these items;
  • Periodically change or clean the heating and air conditioning air filter located in your condominium unit;
  • Turn off lights when not in use;
  • Turn off computers and monitors when not in use;
  • Lower the heat setting on your hot water heater to its lowest setting;

Maintenance Repair Requests

Should an owner find the need for a repair within their condominium unit, the Association will provide maintenance service at $40.00 per hour for labor, plus the cost of material.  In the event a staff person must leave the building to purchase material for an owner, a charge of $20.00 will be added to the invoice for this service.  Please contact the receptionist at the Front Desk or the Manager either in person on by telephone at (609) 823-3300, and present a detailed description of the needed repair.  This information will be placed on a Work Order and will scheduled to be addressed by one of our maintenance staff members.  In the event an owner does not want to utilize the maintenance service provided by the Association, they may have the repair completed by a contractor of their choice.

If you wish to have your hot water heater drained for the winter, please contact the front desk.  The charge is $60.00.  If you want to have your hot water heater set up in the spring, the charge is $40.00, again please inform the front desk of your request.
